POSTING OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION CIRCULAR
NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES
HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 2, 2008) - Further to the announcement by Caza on May 23, 2008 relating to a placing to raise £11.50 million before expenses (equivalent to Cdn$22.36 million at an exchange rate of Cdn$1.9440/£1.00) (the "Placing"), the Company announces that notice of a special meeting proposing the resolution required to obtain shareholders' approval of the Placing, along with a management information circular more particularly describing the Placing, was posted to shareholders on May 30, 2008.
Copies of these documents will be available via www.sedar.com and, in accordance with rule 26 of the AIM Rules for Companies, will be available on Caza's website www.cazapetro.com.
The special meeting to approve the Placing will be held at 10.00 a.m. Houston time on June 26, 2008 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380, USA.
