Centaur Media Plc (LSE: CAU) (the "Company") announces that, on 14 September 2017, it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange from Numis Securities Limited as part of its buyback programme announced on 16 August 2017.

Following the above purchase(s), the Company holds 6,916,272 Ordinary Shares in treasury and has 144,493,954 Ordinary Shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury.
Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 144,493,954 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
