Notification of transactions of directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities

Vesting of Awards under the Card Factory Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP")

Card Factory announces that on 24 May 2016, 105,626 ordinary shares in the Company were allotted to Darren Bryant, the Company's Chief Financial Officer, pursuant to the vesting of a conditional LTIP award made to him on 20 May 2014. 

As set out on page 68 of the Company's 2017 Annual Report and Accounts published on 25 April 2017, awards were granted in 2014 under the LTIP subject to the satisfaction of certain performance conditions which the Company's Remuneration Committee have assessed and have resulted in Mr Bryant being entitled to receive 46.6% of the total award granted to him in 2014.

Following the allotment of these shares, Mr Bryant (and his connected persons) holds 5,781,713 ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company.

This notification is made in accordance with Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation and the Disclosure and Transparency Rules. Card Factory was notified of the above transaction on 24 May 2017.
