Atmel Corporation Announcement

The board notes the positive comments in respect of XSense™ made by Atmel Corporation ("Atmel") executives during the Analysts Earnings call that accompanied Atmel's Q2 results on 6 August 2014. Extracts from the transcript of the Earnings Call are reported below:

"Our XSense revenue grew significantly on both a sequential and year-over-year basis. XSense technology was selected by EDN China as a "Top 10 Most Influential Technologies for the Future" at an award ceremony at the end of June in Shanghai. The prestigious EDN China Innovation Awards are handed out annually. Customer interest for our XSense products remains high and we continue to win new designs."

Sales of coated film by our Conductive Inkjet Technology division are tracking expectations in the current financial year.

Carclo will be issuing its Interim Management Statement during the week commencing 11 August 2014.
