Transaction in own shares

Capital & Regional announces that on 7 February 2013 it purchased, through Numis Securities, 48,577 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 28 pence per share.

Following the above purchase Capital & Regional plc's issued share capital consists of 350,349,195 ordinary shares with voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Capital & Regional plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
