Appointment of Ian Krieger as Non-Executive Director

Capital & Regional plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Krieger as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 December 2014. The appointment is in line with the previous commitment made by the Company to add a further Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board.

Ian brings a wealth of experience gained during a 40 year career, first with Arthur Andersen and, from 2002, with Deloitte. He was a senior partner and vice-chairman at Deloitte until his retirement in 2012 and previous management responsibilities included heading the Corporate Finance Practice, the London Corporate Audit Division and the Private Equity Practice. Ian has significant boardroom experience and has worked with a wide variety of companies throughout his career, including many in the Real Estate and Retail sectors. He will join both the Audit and Remuneration Committees with effect from his appointment.

Ian is a Non-Executive director and the Audit Committee Chairman at Safestore Holdings plc and the Senior Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman at Premier Foods plc. Ian is also a Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Nuffield Trust and a Trustee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Anthony Nolan.
