RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Capital & Regional plc announces that Manjit Wolstenholme will step down from the Board on 31 August 2012 when she will have completed six years on the Board.

John Clare said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Manjit for her significant contribution as both a Director of Capital & Regional and as Chairman of the Audit Committee over the last six years. She has provided key advice during the financial restructuring of the company and moves on at a time when the company is well positioned to develop as a specialist retail property company.
