Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or "the Company") Notification of Shareholding
The Board of Northern Petroleum Plc received notification on 10 January from Deutsche Bank AG London that Deutsche Bank AG and its subsidiary companies have, following acquisitions, increased their notifiable interest to 2,910,926 ordinary shares of the Company. Part of this holding may relate to hedging arrangements for customer transactions. This holding represents approximately 4.15% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital, which currently totals 70,219,851 ordinary shares.
