CHANGE OF AUDITORS
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), has resigned their position as statutory auditor to the Company and ceased to hold office at close of business on 21 July 2022 and, as required by Section 519(iii) of the Companies Act 2006, PwC have deposited a statement with the Company of the circumstances connected with them ceasing to hold office as auditors of the Company.
In accordance with the requirements of Section 520(ii) of the Companies Act 2006, a copy of the statement received from PwC has been sent to its shareholder Bristol Water Core Holdings Limited.
PwC confirms that there were no circumstances which they consider should be brought to the notice of the Company's shareholders or creditors.
The Company have appointed EY LLP ("EY") as its new statutory auditor (subject to conclusion of their formal acceptance procedures) to hold office until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting at which accounts are laid before the Company, with remuneration to be determined by the directors.
EY are the statutory auditors of the Pennon Group plc of which Bristol Water plc is a wholly owned subsidiary following the acquisition of the Company in June 2021.
In compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.1 the Company announces that the following documents have been submitted electronically to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection.
· Letter from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP of statement of circumstances connected with ceasing to hold office as auditors.
