Baronsmead Venture Trust plc - Director Resignation

The Board of Baronsmead Venture Trust plc (the 'Company') announces that Susannah Nicklin, Senior Independent Director, has informed the Board of her intention to step down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 June 2024 due to an increase in her other work commitments. Susannah is also Chair of the Nomination Committee.

Susannah has been a Director since February 2018 and before that was a Director of Baronsmead VCT plc from May 2014 to February 2016. Her insight and dedication to the Company have been of significant value to the Company as well as our predecessor sister Company over the past ten years. The Board will miss her and would like to thank her for her input and expertise and wish her continued success in her other ventures.

Commenting on today's announcement, Fiona Miller Smith, the Company's Chair, said:

Susannah Nicklin said: "It has been a privilege to serve as a director of the Company and its predecessor. The selection process for a replacement Non-Executive Director is underway and an announcement of a successor will be made in due course. In the meantime, the Board has nominated Michael Probin as Senior Independent Director with effect from 30 June 2024 and Fiona Miller Smith will become Chair of the Nomination Committee with effect from the same date.
