2020 Annual General Meeting

British Smaller Companies ("the Company") announces that, due to the ongoing social distancing requirements and as permitted by recent legislation, its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at 9.30 am on Thursday 10 September 2020 will be held virtually, using the Zoom webinar platform, a video-conferencing service.

The Company will be communicating these arrangements to shareholders in the next few days. Full details of the changes to the Articles of Association can be found on the Company's website, www.bscfunds.com

If you are a shareholder and wish to attend the AGM you should send by e-mail your name, postcode and e-mail address to Tracey Nice at tracey.nice@yfmep.com. In order to verify that all requests to attend are valid, all requests should be received no later than 9.30am on Tuesday 8 September 2020. Shareholders may be unable to attend if their request is received after this time. If a shareholder needs assistance, or has any questions, they should contact Tracey Nice on 0113 261 6478 or at the e-mail address given above.

Shareholders will need an e-mail account as invitations to the AGM will be sent via e-mail and shareholders will also need access to a computer at the time of the AGM in order to use Zoom's on-line portal to attend the meeting.

If shareholders cannot attend the meeting they can vote by submitting a proxy vote, which can be done by post or on-line, via www.signalshares.com.
