Further to the announcement of its unaudited preliminary results onΒ 23Β March 2009, British Smaller Technology Companies VCT2 plc ("the Company") hasΒ published itsΒ annual reportΒ forΒ the year ended 31 December 2008Β ("theΒ AnnualΒ Report).Β Β
The Directors announce the payment of a third interim dividend of 2 pence per share forΒ the year ended 31 December 2008. This dividend will be paid on 19 May to shareholders on the register at 3 April andΒ replaces theΒ final dividendΒ asΒ previously announcedΒ on 23 March 2009Β and is in recognition ofΒ the omission ofΒ reference toΒ the final dividendΒ in the Notice of the Company's AGM which is to be held on 13 May 2009. No further dividend for the year to 31 December 2008Β will beΒ proposed.
Copies of the Annual Report have been forwarded to the FSA for publication through the document viewing facility in accordance with LR 9.6.1.
