Earlier today Cozart plc announced therecommendation of a cash offer from Concateno plc at the price of 57.5 pence pershare. This price per share represents a premium of 13.5 pence per share over the bidprice at 30 June that was incorporated within the net asset value of BritishSmaller Technology Companies VCT 2 plc which was announced on 14 August 2007.Consequently should this recommended offer have become unconditional on 30 June2007 the effect would have been to have increased the Company's net asset valueper share from 79.7 pence per share to 83.8 pence per share, an increase of5.1%.
