Brady, the leading global provider of trading, risk management and settlement solutions to the energy, metals and commodities sectors, announced today that Agder Energi, one of the largest energy groups in Norway, has made a firm commitment to further collaborate with Brady plc. Agder Energi have selected the Brady ETRM system to manage their financial and physical power trading operations in the Nordic energy market, in addition to the Brady Energy Power Scheduling solution, which will be deployed to manage Agder's scheduling operations in Germany.
Having been using Brady solutions for their financial energy trading and risk management requirements for a number of years, the recent news of Brady's acquisitions in the energy space means that Agder can now reduce their suppliers and still be able to have best-of-breed solutions from a single supplier. Brady Energy will provide Agder with a comprehensive offering, combining a broad ETRM solution for market data analytics and financial trading, with a complete physical trading solution, as well as the implementation of a scheduling system.
