Appointment of Director
BRAMMER PLC
The Company is pleased to announce that Ron McMillan has been appointed as Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Senior Independent Director with immediate effect. He will also be a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee of the Company.
Until 2013, Ron had worked in PwC's assurance business for 38 years and has deep knowledge and experience in respect of auditing, financial reporting, regulatory issues and governance. He was the Global Finance Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Northern Regional Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK, and Deputy Chairman of, and Head of Assurance for, PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Middle East, and acted as the audit engagement leader to a number of major listed companies.
He is the Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of N Brown Group Plc, SCS Plc and 888 Holdings plc, Chairman of the Audit Committee of B&M European Value Retail SA and Chairman of Welcome to Yorkshire.
