Bioquell PLC27 April 2006 TO: CITY EDITORSFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 27 April, 2006 BIOQUELL PLC Additional Listing: blocklisting Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for admission to (i) the Official List and (ii) to trading on theLondon Stock Exchange's markets for listed securities in respect of ablocklisting of 500,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("New Ordinary Shares"). The New Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to theexercise of employee share options under the BIOQUELL PLC Executive Share OptionScheme (No. 1) (150,000) and the BIOQUELL PLC Executive Share Option Scheme (No.2) (350,000). On exercise the shares will be issued credited as fully paid andwill rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue.
