B. P. Marsh (AIM: BPM), the niche venture capital provider to early stage financial services businesses, announces today that Jonathan Newman has resigned as a Director, Group Finance Director and employee of B.P. Marsh with immediate effect. After a successful 25 year tenure at the Company, Jon has decided to take a break in order spend some much needed time with his family before embracing his next challenge. Whilst the Company is very sad to see him go it supports him in this decision.

Francesca Chappell née Lowley has been appointed as Chief Finance Officer (a non-Board appointment) with immediate effect. Fran has been working alongside Jon since January 2013, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in July 2018, becoming a Fellow in August 2023. Subject to regulatory clearance being given, the intention will be for Fran to be appointed to the Board of the Company at the earliest opportunity, and she will continue to serve on the board of the Company's operating subsidiary B.P. Marsh & Company Limited, which she has done since June 2018.

Brian Marsh, Founder and Chairman, commented:-

"We are immensely grateful for Jon's valued contribution to the Company and its success over the past 25 years. We wish Jon the very best in his next chapter.

"Whilst we are sorry to see Jon leave our executive team, we are of course supportive of his desire to move on and the Company will look to embrace the change that this development will bring."

The remaining Directors of B.P. Marsh wish to thank Jon for the significant contribution he has made since he joined the Company in 1999.
