In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ( "DTRs") we would like to notify the market of the following:-
British Polythene Industries PLC's capital as at today's date consists 27,439,557 ordinary shares. Each ordinary share in issue carries one vote in the event of a poll of shareholders. This is an increase of 554 shares since the previous total voting rights announcement disclosure made on 29 May 2016 resulting from the exercise of 554 options under the British Polythene SAYE scheme. This increase in issued share capital has been previously announced under Rule 2.10 of the UK City Code and Takeovers and Mergers on 13 June 2016.
No ordinary shares are held in treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in British Polythene Industries PLC is 27,439,557.
The above figure 27,439,557 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, British Polythene Industries PLC under the DTRs.
