British Polythene Industries PLC ("the Company") announces that the following grants of options were made today by the Company's Remuneration Committee under the Company Share Option Plan ("CSOP"):

The options were granted at an option exercise price of 685 pence per share, being the average of middle market quotations for BPI ordinary shares for the 3 dealing days prior to the date of grant. The options are subject to a performance condition measured over the 3 financial years 2016 - 2018. Vesting will not normally occur until after the preliminary results announcement for the third year of the Performance Period. Options are exercisable at any time thereafter until the tenth anniversary after the date of grant. No amount was paid for the grant of the options.
