Acquisition of Shares for Share Matching Plan
The Company was informed on 18 December 2012 that the Trustees of the British Polythene Industries PLC Employees Share Ownership Trust ("ESOT") acquired 140,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("shares") at a price of £3.90 per share. The shares acquired represent 0.526% of the Company's issued share capital. Following the transaction, the ESOT will own 1,032,946 shares representing 3.88% of the total voting rights and issued share capital of the Company. The shares were acquired for use under the Company's Share Matching Plan. John Langlands and David Harris as executive directors of the Company and David Duthie, Andrew Green, Michael Huyghe and David Pendlebury as Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, are beneficiaries of the Share Matching Plan and as such have an interest in the shares for the purposes of Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.
