Result of Annual General Meeting
The Board of F&C Private Equity Trust plc (the "Company") announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 24 May 2010 the resolutions set out in the Notice of the Meeting were passed by the requisite majority.
It is also announced that with effect from the close of the Annual General Meeting today, David Simpson has resigned as a Director of the Company. He also resigned as Chairman of the Company and Mark Tennant will now take over the role of Chairman.
In accordance with the Listing Rules, copies of the resolutions proposed and passed as special business and the newly adopted Articles of Association will be submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility which is situated at:
