Body Shop International PLC22 June 2005 The Body Shop International PLC ("the Company") Notification of interests of Directors and connected persons The Company announces today that on 21 June 2005 the following beneficiallyowned shares were gifted by Dame Anita Roddick and Gordon Roddick to charitableorganisations for no consideration. Shares and % of capital Dame Anita Roddick 255,319 ordinary shares (0.1% of the issued capital) Gordon Roddick 255,319 ordinary shares (0.1% of the issued capital) Included in the above gifted shares are 42,553 ordinary shares gifted to TheRoddick Foundation on which both Dame Anita Roddick and Gordon Roddick aretrustees and a further 42,553 ordinary shares were gifted to the AmazonRainforest Foundation on which Gordon Roddick is a trustee. .
