Appointment of Head of UK Sales

AudioBoom (AIM: BOOM), the leading spoken word audio on-demand platform, announces the appointment of Oli Walters as Head of UK Sales with immediate effect. In this role, Oli will be responsible for increasing revenue across audioBoom's UK inventory and building a UK sales team targeting brands and agencies.

Oli previously worked at Bauer Media ('Bauer'), a media group which reaches 22 million UK consumers every week through a portfolio of multi-platform media and entertainment brands including: heat; Kiss, Grazia, Empire, Magic and Absolute Radio. Whilst working at Bauer, Oli held several positions, most recently Group Head of Radio for Dentsu Aegis, where his responsibilities included growing and maintaining commercial revenues from across major advertising agencies such as Dentsu Aegis and Group M. Oli's other key responsibilities whilst at Bauer included managing some of Bauer's biggest direct brand partnerships including Wickes, Shop Direct (Very, Very Exclusive and Littlewoods) and Three Mobile.

Prior to his role at Bauer, Oli was the Brand Director of Absolute Radio where he was responsible for increasing creative revenues across the Absolute Radio portfolio by driving new initiatives across all platforms. Oli was also Digital Sales Manager for blinkbox music, Tesco's proprietary entertainment streaming service and has a keen understanding of digital technologies.
