Gold Oil PLC01 January 2007 For immediate release 29 December 2006 GOLD OIL plc Total Voting Rights In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 theBoard of Gold Oil plc (the "Company") is required to notify the market of thefollowing: As at the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital consistsof 386,582,509 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.025 p each, withvoting rights ("Ordinary Shares"). The Company does not hold any OrdinaryShares in Treasury. Therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rightsis 386,582,509. The above figure of 386,582,509 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders inthe Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they willdetermine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to theirinterest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial ServiceAuthority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
