AIM: BEMAktietorget: BEO Board Changes
Beowulf Mining PLC ("the Company"), the AIM and Aktietorget-traded mineral exploration company with several projects in Sweden announces that following a corporate review and restructuring of the board Mr Clive Sinclair-Poulton, Executive Chairman of the Company, has in addition assumed the board responsibilities of Dr Robert Young.
Dr Robert Young today leaves the board although he will remain with the Company in a consultancy capacity to support the board of directors as required. Mr Sinclair-Poulton joined the board of the Company in June 2008 and was subsequently appointed as Executive Chairman in November. Given the expertise of the other directors in the relevant areas there are no plans to seek a replacement candidate for the Chief Executive position.
Executive Chairman, Clive Sinclair-Poulton said, "Dr Young was instrumental in the creation of the Company and of the acquisition of our highly attractive Swedish projects. The Company will now seek to enhance the commercial aspects of these projects. Dr Young brought much to the Company and we would like to thank him for his work as an executive. His role as a consultant will allow his knowledge and strengths to benefit the Company in a new capacity"
