Begbies Traynor Group plc, the specialist professional services organisation, and Mesirow Financial Consulting, LLC ("MFC"), a full-service financial advisory consulting provider based in the United States, are today announcing a joint venture - to be named BTG Mesirow Financial Consulting - which becomes one of the largest insolvency and restructuring practitioners in the world.

BTG Mesirow Financial Consulting will:

Offer underperforming and distressed companies access to a broad range of industry knowledge and large case experience 

Support multi-national assignments with a global network of professionals

Ensure fast mobilisation of the right resources with understanding of the nuances and issues in specific markets; regulatory climate and multi jurisdictional cases
