Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Group announces that on 23 July 2008 the Board has made a grant of share options under the Group's Share Option Scheme to two existing executive directors, John Gittins and Geoffrey Hill. Both option agreements are over 200,000 ordinary 5 pence shares in the Group at the option price of 102.00p. The options are exercisable after three years subject to a performance hurdle requiring an overall increase in the adjusted Earnings per Share over a three year period of RPI plus 6%. The options, if exercised in full, will represent approximately 0.45% of the Group's issued share capital.
