Additional Allotment and New Issue including director/PDMR shareholder
Mark Fry, head of business recovery and advisory at Begbies Traynor Group plc, has exercised share options over 600,000 ordinary 5 pence shares in the Group ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price of 36.69 pence ("Options"). Settling the Options net of the relevant option price has resulted in the additional issue and allotment of 433,228 Ordinary Shares. Admission of these shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange is expected to occur on Tuesday 25 July 2023 following which the total number of shares in issue and total voting rights will be 155,294,158.
In addition to exercising the Options Mark Fry has also sold 250,000 Ordinary Shares from his beneficial holding in the Group at a sale price of 132 pence per share to meet his taxation obligation in respect of the issue of the new issue of Ordinary Shares.
