US GOVERNMENT RESPIRATOR CONTRACT AWARD
The Company confirms that it has received the multi-year contract valued at US$112million for supply of the M50 military respirator to the US Government.
The contract option executed requires the delivery by Avon of 100,000 mask systems each year for five years, commencing this financial year.
Under the same contract pricing has also been submitted for an additional requirements option, which will provide significant additional demand for further masks and spares in excess of the 100,000 systems purchased under the multi-year contract over a period of up to 10 years. The requirements option is expected to be exercised in the near future and will be the subject of a further announcement.
