Directors Buy shares

Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN), the satellite operator, was informed on 12 May 2011, by John Brackenbury, Chairman, and Alan Foster, non-executive director that on the same day they had exercised 31,432 and 7,500 share options respectively at 1 p per ordinary share.

John Brackenbury now holds a total direct and indirect voting right interest in 367,321 ordinary shares in the Company, being approximately 0.45% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. Alan Foster now holds a total direct and indirect voting right interest in 384,750 ordinary shares in the Company, being approximately 0.47% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
