Avingtrans PLC24 April 2008 Avingtrans Plc ("Avingtrans") Board Changes Avingtrans plc, the designer, manufacturer and supplier of critical componentsand associated services to the medical, industrial and global aerospace sectors,announces the following Board changes. Peter Kenny, 53, currently managing director of the medical and researchdivision has been appointed to the main Board of Avingtrans as an ExecutiveDirector with immediate effect. Roger McDowell, currently non-Executive Chairman, will become acting ChiefExecutive Officer whilst seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive to replaceSteven Lawrence who, as previously announced, will be stepping down at the endof May 2008. Stephen Bruh, Non-Executive Director since June 2002, will retire from the Boardat the end of July 2008. An experienced replacement is being sought. Roger McDowell commented: "I very much welcome Peter to the Board of Directors and since I have becomeChairman I have been very impressed with his operational skills and depth ofknowledge of our business, he will be a strong asset to the Board. "As previously announced Steven Lawrence will be stepping down as CEO on 31stMay 2008. I will become acting CEO until a suitable candidate has beenidentified.
