In light of the escalating Coronavirus challenge, the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of Athelney Trust PLC (LSE: ATY), a company making investments in the equity securities of quoted United Kingdom companies including smaller companies, will now be held at the new time of 12:00 noon on the same day as previously published, 8 April 2020 at a new location: Sabine Lodge, Red House Lane, Pickburn, Doncaster, DN5 7XA.

The Company is taking these measures to safeguard health by making attendance of the event as low risk as possible, for all.

The Company now encourages shareholders to appoint the Chairman to implement their voting instructions rather than attend the meeting in person. Send your forms to the registered office as soon as possible. The meeting will end immediately following the business of the AGM, there will be no corporate presentation, live Q&A or refreshments. 

Please pass any questions to the Company Secretary at the Registered Office as soon as possible - we will answer them as appropriate via the Company's website, www.athelneytrust.co.uk or at the meeting.

Please inform the Company Secretary if you plan to attend so we can prepare the space appropriately.

We expect to hold a shareholder event later in the year, to allow existing and potential investors to meet and ask questions of the board. A date will be set as soon as practicable. In the meantime, a corporate statement from the Fund Manager Dr Manny Pohl will be made available on the website from 8 April 2020.

 Voting instructions are attached to the Notice of Meeting included with the 2019 Annual Report already sent to shareholders, which can also be found on the Company's website.
