Temporary Suspension Lifted

Atlantic Coal plc, the AIM listed open cast coal production and processing company, announces that as a result of the publication of its audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2007, the temporary suspension of trading of its shares on AIM has been lifted with immediate effect.

The audited accounts will be posted to shareholders today and can be downloaded from the Company's website at www.atlanticcoal.com.
