Director shareholding

Atlantic Coal, the AIM quoted anthracite coal mining company operating in Pennsylvania, USA, has been informed that Mary Best, wife of Stephen Best, Managing Director of Atlantic Coal, acquired 73,960,418 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 15 July 2014 at a price of 0.14p per Ordinary Share. The shares were acquired from American Investments Limited, a company of which Stephen Best is a director. Following the purchase Stephen Best's total beneficial interest in the Company remains unchanged at 301,399,448 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to approximately 6.46% of the Company's total issued share capital. 279,573,300 of these Ordinary Shares are held in the name of Mary Best.
