PENTAGON PROTECTION ANNOUNCES SECURITY EQUIPMENT
CONTRACT GAINS VALUED AT MORE THAN £630,000
Pentagon Protection plc (AIM: PPR) announces further contract gains totalling more than £630,000.
These gains, achieved through Pentagon's security division, SDS Group, have been awarded by defence forces and establishments in the UK and overseas, for the supply of specialist search and detection equipment. The SDS range of highly specialist security and search equipment includes the very latest in lightweight portable X-Ray with wi-fi capability and other detection equipment.
These contracts were awarded through the process of competitive tender and direct from both new and existing clients within the UK and overseas with the potential of further orders in the future.
Pentagon's Managing Director Steve Chambers comments:
"I am very happy to be able to report these contract wins for the security equipment side of the Group. We have been focusing considerable efforts and resources towards growing the SDS Group and expanding the Groups presence in various global markets. These contract awards are evidence that our efforts are starting to pay off. These latest awards includes the first major contract win for our Middle East office as well as significant contract win in North America."
I am also pleased to announce the signing of a distribution agreement for the United Kingdom and Ireland between the SDS Group and VOTI Inc., the Canadian-based developer of "State-of-the-Art" innovative 3D Cabinet X-Ray security systems. VOTI offers the best value cabinet x-rays available in the market today and their product line fits in well with the SDS Group's expertise in X-Ray equipment and technology."
