Statement re share price movement
Ashley House notes the movement in the Company's share price.
The Company can confirm that it has been invited to be a framework partner by North Yorkshire County Council following a competitive tender process. The framework will provide purpose-built Extra Care accommodation for people with health and social care needs.
The framework agreement, which is yet to be fully executed by Ashley House, provides the Company, along with five other parties, the opportunity to bid for contracts offered by North Yorkshire County Council on a case by case basis. There is no guarantee that Ashley House will be awarded any of these contracts and accordingly, there can be no guarantee of future revenues deriving from being invited to join the framework agreement.
North Yorkshire County Council intend to commission partners from the Extra Care Housing Framework to design, fund, build, manage and operate the schemes. If commissioned, Ashley House will expect to work in partnership with stakeholders on this multi-million pound initiative to bring Extra Care accommodation to major towns in North Yorkshire
Antony Walters, Ashley House's Chief Executive commented: "Final contracts are expected to be in place by the end of September, at which time the County Council will start to use the framework to seek new Extra Care opportunities. We are delighted to be invited to be a partner on the framework to provide such important facilities for some of the most vulnerable in society."
