London, 21 August 2008 - Mwana Africa PLC (the "Company") today sent to shareholders its Annual Report for the financial year ended 31st March 2008. An electronic copy of the Annual Report is available to download from the Company's website at www.mwanaafrica.com.

The Company's Annual General Meeting will be held on 16 September 2008 at 12:00pm at Dukes Hotel, 35 St James's Place, London SW1A 1NY.The Notice of the Annual General Meeting and proxy form have been distributed to shareholders.
