SMC Group Plc06 June 2007 SMC Group PLC ("The Company") Additional Listing Application has been made to AIM for admission of 2,698,959 ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the Company to trading. These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue. 836,929 of these new shares have been allotted pursuant to stage payments in respects of acquisitions made last year and 1,862,030 of these new shares have been allotted to the Employment Benefit Trust pursuant to arrangements made under the Company's Long Term Incentive Programme. Admission is expected to become effective on 11 June 2007. Therefore the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rightsis 48,765,838.
