AGM Statement
Arden Partners plc (LSE:ARDN) - Peter Moon, Non-Executive Chairman of Arden, will deliver the following statement at the Company's Annual General Meeting which is being held at 14:00 today, March 7th 2016.
"As indicated in my statement in the Annual Report & Accounts, the trading environment for the broking sector remains extremely challenging and which, in recent months, has been exacerbated by global market volatility and low volumes.
We have however completed 6 pieces of corporate business since the turn of our financial year and are currently active in working to deliver several other mandates, subject to market conditions.
Following my earlier announcement that I will be stepping down as a Director and Chairman of Arden at the conclusion of the AGM, I would like to thank my colleagues on the Board, as well as the entire staff, for their help and support during my time at the Company, they have been a pleasure to work with.
Luke Johnson will be taking up the role of Chairman and I wish him and Arden every success for the future."
