AGM Statement
Arden Partners plc (LSE: ARDN) - Peter Moon, Non-Executive Chairman of Arden will deliver the following statement at the Company's Annual General Meeting which is being held at 11 am today, March 14th, 2013.
Trading for the first four months of our financial year has been satisfactory.
Whilst the Board is encouraged at the pipeline of corporate finance work, we also remain cautious of the global economic outlook and deliverability in the second half is dependent on market conditions.
The Board continues to focus on tight control of overheads but has had the opportunity to recruit selectively in key strategic areas and at competitive levels of remuneration.
With a reduced overhead base, a strong balance sheet and our UK and Global franchises, Arden remains well placed amongst its peer group, even though the sector continues to face challenging trading conditions.
