ISSUE OF SHARES
Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC (the "Company") announces that it has issued 279,703 ordinary shares of 1 pence each (the "New Ordinary Shares"), pursuant to the authority granted at a General Meeting of the Company held on 10 October 2011 regarding a scrip dividend offer to shareholders.
Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares, ranking pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in issue, to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission").
It is expected that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence on 2 November 2011. Following Admission of the New Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 15,279,322 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in issue (which includes 380,274 that are held in Treasury), with each share having one voting right.
