("General Industries" or the "Company")
Issue of Unapproved Share Options and Director/PDMR Shareholding
General Industries, a company formed to acquire and operate growing businesses in the services sector, announces that on Friday 24th June 2016, in line with the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan, a total of 500,000 unapproved share options ("Share Options") have been granted to key members of staff in recognition of their services in 2015 - 2016. This grant forms part of the Company's reward and remuneration strategy which is to ensure that General Industries attracts, retains and motivates highly skilled personnel contributing to the growth and success of the Group.
Each of the following: Steven Douglas, Susan Kane and Fiona Underwood, Directors of General Industries plc, and Christopher Wood, Director of Altair Consultancy and Advisory Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, have been issued 100,000 Share Options.
The Share Options have been granted to each Executive Director as named above to the value of £44,000 based on the mid-market price of £0.44 on 24 June 2016 being the date on which the Annual Accounts 2016 were signed and they will be exercisable on 24 June 2019 at an exercise price of £0.05 per share.
Following these grants the Company has a total of 4,800,864 Ordinary Shares under option representing 14.72 % of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
