Director Changes

APR Energy (LSE: APR) or ("the Company"), a global leader in fast-track power solutions, today announces that Greg Bowes has informed the Board that he is stepping down from his role as Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. The Company also announces the immediate appointment of Quinn McLean, Guy Bentinck, Aron Schwartz, Jonathan Ginns and Pieter Wernink as new Directors representing the Consortium of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, ACON Investments and Albright Capital Management, which gained shareholder approval 4 January to acquire the Company and take it private.

"We thank Greg for his leadership and guidance during his long service as a Board member. His wise counsel during our growth and steady hand in challenging periods have been invaluable. We wish Greg well in his future endeavors and thank him for the outstanding contributions made to the Company," said Executive Chairman John Campion.

"The diverse skills and experience that they bring to the Board, coupled with the track record of success they have had as investors across a number of other businesses, will serve us well going forward. They have worked tirelessly in recent months to gain a deep understanding of our business, and we are fortunate to have such strong partners working with us to grow the Company and achieve our long-term goals."

Mr. McLean is Portfolio Manager at Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, provides global investment management services solely to the insurance and reinsurance subsidiaries of Fairfax. He also is a Director at Gulf Insurance Group, AFGRI Limited and First Capital Insurance Limited.

Mr. Bentinck currently is a consultant with Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited. He also is a Director at Manabi S.A., and serves as President and CEO of Potash Ridge Corporation.

Mr. Schwartz is Managing Partner at ACON Investments. He also is a founding Board member at CION Investment Corporation, and serves as a Board member at Igloo Corporation and Ancora Education.

Mr. Ginns is a founder and Managing Partner at ACON Investments. He also serves on the Board of Sequitur Energy Services, and previously was a Director at Mariner Energy and Northern Tier Energy.

Mr. Wernink is Managing Director at Albright Capital Management. Previously, he served as a Director at Citigroup Venture Capital International.
