APR Energy announces Board change

APR Energy plc (the "Company") (LSE: APR), a global leader in fast-track power solutions, is pleased to announce that Laurence Anderson, co-Founder and President of the APR Group has been appointed to the Company's Board as an Executive Director, effective 29 May 2014.

Mike Fairey, Chairman of APR Energy plc, said: "Laurence Anderson is a highly experienced executive with a significant track record in the energy industry. He has been an integral part of APR Energy's success and I am delighted to welcome him to the Board at this exciting time in the Company's development."

In accordance with the Listing Rules, there are no additional matters that would require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R (1) to (6) in relation to this appointment.

Notes

Mr. Anderson has served as the President and COO of the APR Energy Group from 2004 to 2014. Mr. Anderson joined Showpower Inc in 1987 as a Vice President and Director of Operations and in 1996 was appointed President, a position he held until the company was acquired by GE Energy Rentals in December 1999. As part of the acquisition, Mr. Anderson became a Vice President of Fleet Operations for GE Energy Rentals. In 2002, he was hired as Vice President of Alstom Power Rentals, a subsidiary of Alstom Power Inc., a Paris-based company focused on energy and transportation infrastructure. In March 2004, Alstom Power Rentals' ownership was transferred to APR LLC, a company owned and operated by John Campion and Laurence Anderson.

Mr. Anderson has the following beneficial interest in APR Energy plc. As at 29 May 2014, JCLA Cayman owned 6,941,463 ordinary shares representing approximately 7.4% of the Company's total issued share capital. These ordinary shares are held by JCLA Cayman, which is ultimately owned approximately 39% by Laurence Anderson.
