Completion of Acquisition of a Minority Stake in Connecticut Services Area Operator
Dublin, London, 1 October 2019: Further to the Company's announcement of 7 August 2019, Applegreen is pleased to announce that the acquisition of 23 on-highway service plazas in Connecticut, US ("CT Service Plazas") by a consortium, of which Applegreen is a member, completed on 30 September 2019. The completion follows approval of the acquisition by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
Applegreen now holds a 40 per cent stake in JLIF Holdings (Project Service) US, Inc. and its 100% subsidiary, Project Service, LLC, which operates the CT Service Plazas. The remaining equity interests are held by Applegreen's consortium partners IST3 Investment Foundation, acting in respect of and on behalf of its investment group IST3 Infrastruktur Global, and TD Greystone Asset Management on behalf of and as manager of the Greystone Infrastructure Fund (Global Master) L.P.
