Date for interim results announcement
APC Technology Group PLC (AIM: APC), the provider of design-in, specification and distribution services for specialist electronic components and systems, lighting technologies and connectivity products, is pleased to confirm that the interim results for the six-month period to 28 February 2018 will be announced on Tuesday 17 April 2018.
Recent Business Achievements
APC's lighting division has celebrated completing its 500th lighting installation project since it was acquired by APC in 2013. The 500 projects span 268 customers within retail, leisure, commercial real estate, warehousing and logistics and equate to 420,000 LED luminaires supplied and installed, generating £38.5 million in revenue. The division is now firmly established as a provider of turnkey lighting solutions to property and facility management companies.
Elsewhere across the business, APC Hi-Rel, supplier of high reliability components to aerospace and defence, has been named in the top 2% of BAE Systems' electronic systems sector suppliers at the BAE Partner 2 Win symposium in America on 6th March 2018. The event recognised BAE's best-in-class suppliers based on quality and delivery.
From 1st March 2018, APC's latest acquisition First Byte Micro Limited has been rebranded APC Locator. This positions the division, that provides sourcing, testing and component obsolescence management services, as an integral part of APC's offering.

Having refocused our lighting division business model to provide bespoke lighting solutions to facilities management and property management companies, the lighting business is capitalising on a rise in commercial properties seeking to improve their energy efficiency to comply with MEES (Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards). The 500th project is a significant milestone and it is satisfying that it was completed for one of our key property management partners.
As set out in our 2017 annual results presentation which is available on our website, we are concentrating on three main growth drivers: growth through increased bookings from our existing technologies, in particular those that sit in high growth markets; growth through the signing of new complementary product lines; and growth through targeted bolt-on acquisitions. Following the acquisition of First Byte Micro in January 2018 it is encouraging to see that the company is now firmly bedded in with our existing component business and accessing our extensive customer base."
