TRADING STATEMENT
Anpario plc, the international producer and distributor of natural feed additives for animal health, hygiene and nutrition, is holding its AGM later today, when Peter Lawrence, Chairman, will make the following comments:
"The ongoing implementation of the Company's strategy in routes to market, control of costs, R&D and production automation is progressing well and the business continues to trade in line with full year management expectations.
As highlighted at the time of our 2017 full year results announcement, currency headwinds continue to be challenging sales growth in sterling in the first six months of this year, although some positive hedging is in place. Latin America has also not been immune to economic problems in certain key countries such as Brazil, Mexico and Argentina where more recently, however there may be signs of some recovery.
The Company's interim results for the six month period ended 30 June 2018 are expected to be announced on 5 September 2018."
