Director Shareholding

Animalcare Group plc (the "Company")

The Company was notified today that on 3 October 2008, Stephen Wildridge, a Director of the Company and Managing Director of Animalcare Ltd, purchased 30,068 ordinary shares of 20 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 60 pence per share.

As a result of this transaction, Mr Wildridge is now interested in 474,068 Ordinary Shares representing 2.40% of the issued share capital of the Company.
