Amino Technologies PLC27 April 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 27 April 2006 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: TRADING UPDATE Amino Technologies plc ("Amino"; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadbandnetwork software and systems Group, is holding its Annual General Meeting today.The Chairman, Grant Masom will give the following update on trading: "The Board is pleased to report that in the year to date, Amino has continued toachieve strong growth. Unit shipments are expected to be some 90% higher than inthe comparable period last year with revenue growth of approximately 70%,reflecting an altered mix of products and customers. The results for the firsthalf year are expected show a significant improvement over H1 2005. "A reduction in working capital since the last year end is expected to result inan increase in net cash at 31 May 2006 when compared with 30 November 2005. "Amino is making substantive progress on certain Tier 1 telco opportunities forlicensing Amino's IntAct software technologies and for the supply of set topboxes, although the timing of such agreements is difficult to predict. "The Board is pleased at the continuing momentum of the business and isconfident that substantial progress will be achieved for the full year to 30November 2006 with, again, a heavy bias in profitability towards the second halfyear. "A more detailed update on the first half will be issued after the end of theperiod."
