Exercise of Options and Directors' Dealings
Amerisur Resources Plc, the oil and gas explorer and developer focused in South America, announces that on 25 October 2012, Victor Valdovinos and Doug Ellenor, directors of the Company, exercised options to acquire a total of 4,950,000 ordinary shares issued to them under the Unapproved Share Option Scheme, the Senior Executive Share Option Scheme and the LTIP in the following quantities:

On 25 October 2012, Victor Valdovinos sold 750,000 shares at a price of 45.4042p each and Doug Ellenor sold 1,450,000 shares at 45.4042p each.
Following the transactions outlined above, Victor Valdovinos has a beneficial interest in 2,750,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.27% of the Company's revised issued share capital and Doug Ellenor has a beneficial interest in 1,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.1% of the Company's revised issued share capital.
Application has been made for the 4,950,000 shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 31 October 2012. Upon Admission, the Company's revised issued share capital will be 1,037,183,831.
